A Day at the Zoo

I love having Daniel home so that we can enjoy days like this TOGETHER as a family! Daniel had a great idea the other day to go to the Ft Worth Zoo. Wednesdays are half price days so that made it even better! We decided to let Liam skip his second nap for the sake of fun. After he woke from his first nap, we fed him and loaded him and the stroller in the car. He didn't really care about anything when he was sitting in the stroller (except for his snacks) but when we would take him out and hold him to look at all the animals he started to enjoy the trip!

We took our new zoom lens for our camera and we got some great pictures! (at least we think so)
His favorite part about the zoo! He loves birds!

September - Fall is Here!

Well, the season is here, the weather is not. We had a few days of nice weather and then it disappeared. Liam is now 14 months old. Here's an update:
Liam and I flew to Ohio (along with my dad) so that Liam could meet my dad's side of the the family for the first time (see other post for more pictures!)
While in Ohio, Liam went to his first zoo.
When we were in Ohio, Daniel was in Nicaragua working with Living Water and digging a well for a community.
Liam's favorite book is a foam book of barnyard animals where the animals pop out - like a puzzle. He loves to sit and turn pages.
He officially weaned now. He drinks organic whole milk from a sippy cup (with a straw) now.
He sleeps with a blanky now. He loves to snuggle with a soft blanket.
He puts himself to sleep without fussing at all (we still have nights that are worse than others occasionally). We finally established a bedtime routine which helped with him being fussy. We sing Jesus Loves Me and say a bedtime prayer. Love my Jesus time with Liam! :)

No pictures for this post. Haven't been able to upload them. Maybe one day...

13 Month Update

Liam at his 12 month check up - which was really at 13 months.
At 13 months he weighed 22lbs 4oz (25%) and 31.5 inches long (85%).Liam has learned to run
He is in a Mothers Day Out program on Tuesdays

He loves to terrorize Jack. He beats him with toys and pulls his fur constantly.
We started some cloth diapering, not exclusively, but we're working into it.
We began the process of weaning. He is only nursing at night. I am so sad about stopping. I didn't think I would be.
He had his first trip to the beach.
He got to welcome his new little buddy Ford into the world!
Waiting for Ford to get here!
He got to go to the Museum of Science and History (basically a kids hands-on museum) with some sweet friends of ours! He had a blast playing in the hospital, grocery store, dinosaur room, and the grossology exhibit.
Yes, he's sitting in "poo"
He LOVES to dance! He just stands in front of the TV when there is music and sways or turns circles. I want to know where he learned that dancing means turning in circles?
His favorite TV shows lately are the Backyardigans and Barney.
And some cute pictures. :)
